Villa Sarchi
Coffea arabica var. villa sarchi
Sweet, clean, bright acidity.
Villa Sarchi is a dwarf Bourbon mutation discovered in the West Valley town of Sarchí, Costa Rica, around the mid-20th century — another parallel to Caturra and Pacas. Its compact form handles wind well and performs strongly at high altitude, and it has gained renewed attention from quality-focused Costa Rican micro-mills. It also contributed to hybrid breeding such as the Sarchimor line.
