The Barn

The Barn was founded in Berlin in 2010 by Ralf Rüller and became known for an uncompromising, purist approach: light roasting, single origins, and famously exacting standards in its cafés. The Barn championed transparency and traceability while cultivating an almost austere devotion to coffee quality that polarised and influenced the European scene. It stands among the most internationally recognised German roasters and helped define Berlin's reputation as a specialty capital.
