Assembly Espresso Blend

The Assembly Espresso Blend has been created in collaboration with some of the most esteemed specialty coffee shops in the UK. The coffees that make up the Blend are regularly refined according to crop seasonality and our sourcing programme.

The Blend offers classic profile with prominent notes of chocolate and caramel, and a weighty texture. This is the coffee for someone who appreciates a rich, dense cup. Pair it with milk for a flavour reminiscent of banoffee pie.

The Assembly Espresso Blend (Gift) is a signature offering from Assembly Coffee, designed to provide a balanced and approachable experience for the home barista. As a foundational espresso, this blend focuses on the classic, comforting profiles of chocolate and caramel. These foundational notes are often sought after for their versatility, performing exceptionally well both as a standalone shot and when paired with steamed milk.

When evaluating the nuances of such a blend, it can be helpful to reference a flavor wheel to better identify the specific characteristics of the roast. While espresso blends are frequently crafted to highlight sweetness and body, the interplay between these chocolate and caramel tones can vary depending on the brewing parameters. By focusing on these core flavor profiles, this blend serves as a reliable staple for those who appreciate a traditional, well-rounded cup that emphasizes depth and consistency in every extraction.
