A blend that changes with the harvest
Coffee is a seasonal crop, so the coffees in this blend change through the year as fresh harvests arrive. Our roasting team tastes what's landing from our producers and picks components that work well together. It's sweet, and it works as espresso or filter. The bag in your hands is always fresh, in-season coffee. Want to know why? Read The Coffee Arrival Calendar.

Context
The Seasonal Blend from Ozone Coffee offers a distinct profile that highlights the roaster's approach to balancing complex sweetness and acidity. By featuring notes of cloudberry, marzipan, and sultanas, this selection invites drinkers to explore a nuanced interplay between bright, berry-like fruitiness and the comforting, nutty richness often found in well-developed roasts.
When evaluating such a profile, it can be helpful to reference a flavor wheel to better identify the specific characteristics of these tasting notes. Generally, blends are crafted to provide a consistent and harmonious experience, often combining different origins to achieve a specific sensory goal. While natural-processed coffees often lean toward heavier fruit profiles and washed coffees toward cleaner acidity, a blend like this one aims to bridge those gaps, creating a cohesive cup that evolves as it cools. This particular offering serves as an excellent example of how careful roasting can highlight diverse, layered flavors within a single brew.
