Rosetta Roastery
Rosetta Roastery is a Cape Town-based specialty coffee roaster founded in 2010, known for its single-origin focus, seasonal approach to coffee sourcing, and multiple South African Roastery of the Year awards.

Rosetta Roastery was founded in Cape Town, South Africa in 2010 by Jono Le Feuvre, Rob Cowles, and Jeff van Aswegen, with Ian Scott later joining as co-owner. The roastery is dedicated to specialty coffee, rejecting one-size-fits-all house blends in favor of a curated selection of single-origin coffees sourced from celebrated growing regions around the world. Their philosophy centers on celebrating coffee as an agricultural product shaped by terroir, seed variety, and processing method, encouraging customers to engage with their offerings much as they would a seasonal food menu. Rosetta's team comprises cuppers, roasters, baristas, and trainers who work collaboratively to highlight each stage of coffee's flavor development. The roastery has received notable industry recognition, winning The Coffee Magazine's 'South African Coffee Roastery of the Year' award in 2018, 2019, and again in 2023. Rosetta also offers equipment, subscriptions, brew guides, and wholesale services.
