Voor onze nieuwste koffie liep het inkoopproces net even anders dan normaal. Afgelopen oktober jureerde onze hoofdbrander Skip bij een regionale koffiewedstrijd in Nariño. Na intensief cuppen om de koffies te ranken, kwamen alle producenten én de gouverneur van Nariño bijeen voor een live veiling. Elke koffie ging naar de hoogste bieder en Skip wist daar dit lot van Finca Guayacam te bemachtigen. Het is een super zachte en cleane koffie met een klassiek, maar complex smaakprofiel waar Nariño om bekendstaat.
