Night Owl | Dark Blend

A dark roast you say?! What in tarnation!? Well at Quills a common saying is “Quality for All” and we can’t say that if we aren’t constantly looking at our coffee offerings and pushing the boundaries. A blend of Honduras and Colombia, this blend is the darkest roast we’ve done to date, but also something we’re proud to put alongside our other coffees. 

We taste:  Chocolate cake, caramel, rich, tobacco finish

Night Owl is a signature dark blend curated by Quills Coffee, sourced from various smallholder farms. Cultivated at elevations ranging from 1200 to 2100 masl, this selection utilizes the washed process, a technique often employed to highlight the inherent clarity and structural acidity of the bean. In the cup, this blend leans into a classic, comforting profile characterized by notes of chocolate cake and caramel. The experience concludes with a rich, tobacco finish, offering a depth that is frequently sought after in darker roasts.
