Five Elephant
Berlin roaster known for direct sourcing and its famous cheesecake as much as its coffee.

Five Elephant was founded in Berlin in 2010 by Kris Schackman and Sophie Weigensamer and became a cornerstone of the city's celebrated third-wave scene. Known for direct-trade sourcing and balanced, expressive roasting — and almost as famous locally for its cheesecake — Five Elephant helped make Berlin one of Europe's most important specialty coffee cities. Its long-term producer relationships and Kreuzberg roastery embody the engaged, community-minded German specialty movement.
