Description

Bright, sweet, and beautifully composed, this year’s World’s Best Father’s Day coffee is a celebration of care, craft, and character in the cup.

Roasted for espresso, Colombia Nariño – Huellas de Encanto opens with lively citrus, followed by honeyed sweetness and a refined caramel finish. Elegant and balanced, it reflects the remarkable high elevations of Nariño and the dedication of the women who cultivate it.

This special lot is produced by 30 women growers farming small hillside plots in southern Colombia, organized through Asociación Ecoterra SAS. Their work comes together in a coffee that feels both vibrant and graceful.

Context

This espresso blend from 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters sources its beans from the Nariño region of Colombia, cultivated by Asociación Ecoterra SAS. The roaster has developed this expression to highlight a compelling balance of bright and sweet characteristics—citrus and fruity notes alongside honey and caramel undertones, with a delicate floral quality woven throughout. These tasting dimensions suggest a carefully calibrated roast designed for espresso's concentrated format, where such layered aromatics can unfold distinctly in the cup. Nariño's high-altitude terroir and the producer's approach combine to create a profile that bridges acidity with sweetness, making this a versatile choice for both straight shots and milk-based preparations.
