Context

Bon Bon, roasted by Hundred House Coffee, presents a profile defined by its confectionery sweetness. The cup is characterized by notes of soft macaroon, hard-boiled sweets, and chocolate, offering a dessert-like experience that highlights the roaster's approach to balancing indulgent, sugary profiles.

When evaluating coffees with such distinct sweetness, it is helpful to consider how these flavors map onto the broader flavor wheel. While chocolate notes often provide a grounding, familiar base, the inclusion of hard-boiled sweets suggests a brighter, candy-like acidity that distinguishes this lot. By exploring these specific descriptors, drinkers can better understand the nuances of their brew and how different roasting techniques influence the final expression of the bean. Whether enjoyed as a morning treat or an afternoon pick-me-up, Bon Bon serves as a compelling example of how classic, comforting flavor profiles can be articulated with clarity and precision.
