I 1967 etablerte Isidro Pereira kaffegården Fazenda IP. Etter å ha fullført landbruks- og gårdsstudier ble også sønnen Luiz Paulo Pereira Sr. med på laget. I 1974 ble gården utvidet, flere og flere kaffeplanter ble plantet, mens jordbruksarealet vokste over 500% – og far og sønn ble pionerer innen kaffedyrking i Carmo de Minas i Brasil.

Rundt byen Carmo de Minas, ligger flere av de beste kaffegårdene i Brasil. Høyde over havet, næringsrikt jordsmonn og nøyaktig foredling av kaffebærene, har gjort at bønder i dette området de senere år har blitt belønnet med mange priser for sin gode kaffe.
