A JUICY JAVA VARIETY SEPARATION FROM FINCA LA TERRAZA

We were fortunate enough to meet Juliana Guevara through happenstance. While we didn’t know it in that moment, we had cupped 2 of Juliana’s coffees days prior in Bogotá over a spread of several large tables, and they left their mark.

Nestled in between long days of cupping beautiful coffee, Juliana presented at the helm of a producer-led panel, advocating for awareness about the need to amplify women’s voices in the industry, retaining youths as the next generation of coffee producers, and making a case for climate change activism. Carrying with her a strong voice for engaging in social improvement projects with coffee serving as the conduit, Juliana’s conviction to develop community growth is inspiring to say the least.

We are proud to release our first of two variety separations from Finca La Terraza, a model farm towering over Southern Huila. Organic practices paired with immaculate processing allow for her coffee to express terroir to the utmost degree. Exceptionally high elevation paired with cool nights and dialed processing techniques present a washed Java that is brimming with juiciness in the cup, showcasing tasting notes of eucalyptus, key lime, lychee.
