Context
This washed microlot from CoopeTarrazú in Costa Rica's renowned Tarrazu region showcases the Caturra and Catuai varietals that have long defined the region's character. Methodical Coffee has developed this coffee to emphasize warm spice and stone fruit—a profile well-suited to the washed process, which typically highlights clarity and acidity. The combination of almond and gingersnap notes suggests a balance between nuttiness and subtle spice complexity, while the plum character provides the fruit-forward backbone common to Central American coffees from this elevation and terroir.
