TRANSPARENCY

Transparency Report: F.Bomb Filter Blend (PDF)

2018 marked a statement of intent for us, to ensure that people growing exceptional coffee are still doing so in decades to come.

We started publishing the price we pay to producers exposing the traceability they deserve and discerning drinkers' demand as the new norm. We refer to the most direct payment as ‘Farmgate’.

We’re proud we can publish this for our single origins and house blends.

Seven Seeds has been involved with the Speciality Coffee Transaction Guide as data donors for the past five years. We have signed 'The Pledge', a commitment to transparency in coffee trading.

We also share this information in our Annual Impact Report.

The F. Bomb Filter Blend, crafted by Seven Seeds, is designed specifically for filter brewing methods. As a blend, it is engineered to balance distinct components, resulting in a cup profile described by the roaster as juicy and sweet. When evaluating such profiles, enthusiasts often look for a harmonious interplay between acidity and sugar browning, which can be mapped using the flavor wheel to better identify specific sensory characteristics.

Generally, filter blends are curated to highlight clarity and brightness, often favoring lighter roast profiles that allow the inherent qualities of the constituent beans to shine through. While individual components may vary, the goal of a blend like this is to provide a consistent, approachable experience that emphasizes a clean finish. By focusing on the interplay of sweetness and acidity, this blend aims to offer a vibrant cup that remains balanced from the first sip to the last.
