Olympia Coffee Roasting

Olympia Coffee Roasting Company is an independent, small-batch coffee roaster founded in 2005 in Olympia, Washington, built around direct trade partnerships and a mission to improve quality of life for farmers, staff, and community.

Founded in 2005 in an unmarked downtown Olympia warehouse, Olympia Coffee Roasting Company began as a wholesale roaster and has grown into a Pacific Northwest institution. The company operates a daily roast-to-order roastery in downtown Olympia and sources coffee directly from farmers across nine countries in East Africa, South America, and Central America, emphasizing fairness, transparency, and lasting relationships. Its coffees reach cafés, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores throughout the Pacific Northwest, across the United States, and to select international partners. Olympia Coffee also operates seven cafés and Moonrise Bakery across Olympia, Tacoma, and Seattle. The company's stated mission is to improve the quality of life for its farmers, staff, and community through exceptional coffee and genuine service. Core values include determination, excellence, continuous improvement, and teamwork. In 2013, Roast Magazine recognized the company as Micro Roaster of the Year.
