You may have noticed that a few of the producers we have been buying from for years are beginning to diversify their plantings, offering new varieties and processing methods to better vertically integrate into the market. This is the gradual trajectory of reinvesting in farm infrastructure. It doesn't happen overnight, but rather is the fruit of considered planning, informed decisions and, of course, some trial and error in the changing climate. This is our 6th year offering Fredeslinda Calle's excellent coffee, though first time offering the prized variety SL-9 - often called "Inca Geisha" but not by us. Floral, citric acidity, kiwi and hibiscus. A tiny lot that will go quickly.
