Brew Guide & Serving Suggestions: For best results we recommend adding 2.5g of this tea to 250ml of water, that's 100°C. We would then suggest leaving your tea to infuse for 4 minutes. If you're looking to serve larger amounts, increase your recipe to fit your teapot or serving size. We advise 1-2g of tea per 100ml water. Our Peppermint tea can be enjoyed on its own or with 1-2 teaspoons of honey and a couple of slices of lemon for an extra layer of sweet & zingy indulgence. This tea can also be brewed cold or over ice to make a delicious summer drink. If brewing over ice, adjust your recipe to allow for dilution.

Context

Sourced from Kosovo, the Pure Peppermint lot by Clifton Coffee Roasters offers a distinct profile that highlights the unique terroir of its origin. While many coffees are categorized by traditional fruit or chocolate notes, this selection leans into a refreshing, botanical character. Fresh, herbal, and sweet, the cup provides a clean experience that stands apart from more conventional offerings.

When evaluating such specific profiles, it is helpful to reference the flavor wheel to better understand how herbal nuances interact with natural sweetness. Coffees with these characteristics often benefit from precise brewing methods that emphasize clarity, allowing the delicate, cooling qualities of the bean to shine through. By focusing on these specific sensory attributes, drinkers can appreciate the diversity found in emerging coffee-producing regions like Kosovo, where unique processing and cultivation environments continue to challenge expectations of what a standard cup can deliver.
