Clifton Coffee Roasters
Clifton Coffee Roasters is a Bristol-based speciality coffee roaster and wholesaler, founded in 2001, offering freshly roasted coffee, barista training, and equipment servicing.
Founded by James Fisher in 2001, Clifton Coffee Roasters began by servicing espresso machines for Bristol's independent businesses. The company expanded into coffee wholesale after being joined by Ed Buston, Emma Russe, and Miles Lenthall, and was notably early in offering barista training alongside its wholesale operations. Over the following years, Clifton Coffee grew its Bristol headquarters to include a large training facility, described as the first of its kind at the time, and continued to serve several key multi-site Bristol customers from its early days. The roastery roasts daily and offers same-day dispatch on orders placed before 8am on weekdays. Its current product range includes house coffees, single-origin offerings, an Unparalleled Series, and coffee capsules, alongside tea, hot chocolate, and brewing equipment. The company also provides SCA-accredited training courses for home baristas and wholesale partners, and continues to maintain espresso machines for local businesses.
