Balthvs formed in 2019, with roots Colombia, and has performed worldwide since! Creating a genre all their own -where psychedelic jazz, funk, and Latin influence come together in a experience that is complimentary to DMC’s own psychadeligant vibe!

Their newest album, Manifest, is out October 7th!

A Love Supreme is a favorite of the band, so we created a blend that takes a Colombian riff on our house staple:

The base of  Manifest is our current Love profile, composed of a washed Mexican coffee from the Finca Nuevo Mexico team we started working with earlier this year, where they cultivate varieties in the Catimor and Sarchimor families, and an old classic around here from the Pacas family in El Salvador. The washed Bourbon and Pacas lot is from small producers, including the Pacas Family in the Santa Ana region, meticulously sorted, fermented, and dried at the Cafe Tuxpal mill. These two Love Supreme components are then joined by a funkier Colombian coffee from the Echavarria family at Finca Santa Barbara in Antioquia. At Santa Barbara they cultivate primarily Castillo and Colombia trees, with a small amount of Caturra trees here and there, with this lot being surprisingly juicy for being a washed coffee, with a lot of fruit notes in the cup!
