Context

Sourced from the Aricha Adorsi Washing Station in the Yirgachefe region, this Ethiopia - Naga Singage selection highlights the hallmark characteristics of its origin. Yirgachefe coffees, detailed further in our Ethiopia · Yirgachefe guide, are frequently celebrated for their delicate, tea-like profiles and vibrant acidity. Because this lot undergoes a washed process, the inherent clarity of the bean is preserved, allowing the bright, citrus-forward notes of tangerine and candied orange to shine alongside stone fruit undertones.

Roaster Partners Coffee highlights a complex profile featuring apricot, peach, honey, and orange blossom. When evaluating such nuanced aromatics, we recommend referencing the flavor wheel to better identify the subtle transitions between these floral and fruit-driven layers. While washed coffees are generally prized for their clean, crisp finish, the specific terroir of the Aricha Adorsi station provides a distinct sweetness that balances the bright acidity typical of this renowned Ethiopian region.
