Morgon Coffee Roasters

Founded in Gothenburg, Sweden in the summer of 2018, Morgon Coffee Roasters was established by Markus Vestergaard and Gabriella Sand, who together bring over 25 years of combined experience in coffee as baristas, roasters, trainers, consultants, and competitors. The roastery's philosophy is deliberately approachable: their coffees are described as bright, seasonal, and sustainably sourced, and are intended to be enjoyed by everyone rather than reserved for specialist audiences. Morgon sources from long-term relationships with producers worldwide, selecting lots with the potential to become their personal favourite cup. Each coffee is roasted carefully to highlight its unique flavours and the heritage of its origin. The roastery's distinctive square blue packaging draws inspiration from the shipping containers at the historic shipyard surrounding their dockside roastery, while individual coffee artworks are informed by postcards, producer stories, and tasting notes. Morgon offers both filter and espresso roasts, along with subscriptions and brewing equipment.
