Dark Roast
Roasted by Bonanza Coffee Roasters
Consistent dark roast from Brazil, ideal for fully automatic machines and filter brewing.

From the roaster
Our conventional mode is to roast as little as possible and let some truly remarkable coffee do the rest. Using our years of experience, pairing old to new methods of production and challenging our norm for a roast that is distinctly Bonanza, unconventionally we emulated a flavor profile that we once considered 'too far' .
Here we present our take on the Dark Roast. Consistent and easy-to-brew, ideal for fully automatic machines, reliable for both a busy restaurant or at home.

Context
This natural-processed Brazilian offering from Bonanza Coffee Roasters represents a classic pairing of origin and method. Brazil, as a producing region, brings characteristic body and sweetness to the cup, while natural processing typically emphasizes fruit-forward characteristics and fuller mouthfeel through extended seed-to-fruit contact during drying. The dark roast profile intensifies these inherent qualities, often bringing out deeper, more pronounced flavors developed through extended heat application. This combination suggests a coffee likely to display robust, comforting notes balanced with the fruit complexity that natural-processed beans are prized for. Refer to the flavor wheel to identify specific tasting descriptors in your cup.
