From the roaster
This rich, strawberry-jammy cup from producer Luis Titimbo is one of the sweetest, most chuggable coffees coming out of Colombia right now. Luis is a member of the Guacharos Association, a small group of neighboring farmers in the south part of the Huila region who have banded together with the mission of collectively converting to organic agriculture and increasing quality through precise picking and processing methods. They all pitch in to pay for consultations in organic agriculture and work on each other's farms installing water filtration systems and spraying organic, home-made fertilizers.
The cup is full of big, red fruits and reminds us of strawberry preserves, peach gummy rings and grape hard candy. Some lovely sugar-browning notes are evident as the cup cools. The body is silky, rich and well-structured, making this an amazing every-day coffee.
We roast and ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All orders placed before 10AM ship that day.
