Context
The Escape Velocity Blend, crafted by Five Senses, offers a vibrant profile defined by its distinct fruit-forward character. With tasting notes of raspberry cola, cranberry, and orange marmalade, this blend highlights the complexity often sought in modern specialty coffee roasting. Blends are frequently designed to balance the acidity and sweetness of multiple origins, creating a cohesive cup that showcases a wide spectrum of flavors.
When evaluating such a profile, enthusiasts often look to the flavor wheel to categorize these specific fruit-toned sensations. While individual components in a blend can vary, the combination of tart cranberry and citrus-heavy marmalade notes suggests a bright, lively experience. By focusing on these specific flavor markers, the roaster aims to provide a dynamic drinking experience that bridges the gap between traditional comfort and adventurous, fruit-driven acidity. This blend serves as a testament to the precision required in balancing diverse coffee profiles to achieve a singular, harmonious result.
