After co-operating a small roastery and café in Plymouth, MA, Anderson shifted his focus to wholesale coffee roasting and launched Speedwell. The company's mission centers on sourcing and roasting high-quality coffee while building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with employees, vendors, and customers. Speedwell works directly with farmers and importers to source ethically and sustainably, paying above-market prices and maintaining transparent supply chain practices. Coffee is sourced seasonally to ensure freshness. Beyond roasting, Speedwell offers professional barista training, equipment sales, equipment repair, and wholesale support services, making it a broad resource for coffee businesses at any stage. The roastery is based in the greater Boston area and serves both retail and wholesale customers, with options including subscriptions, brew gear, and roastery tours.
