Roasted by Cartwheel Coffee
This blend celebrates a collaboration between Cartwheel Coffee and District Coffee, featuring two naturally processed Brazilian coffees.

From the roaster
This coffee celebrates a collaboration between Cartwheel Coffee and District Coffee, born from friendship and a shared goal of bringing great coffee to our local community. Together with District, we carefully curated this blend of two naturally processed Brazilian coffees: one grown by Flavio Reis and his father at Fazenda Rancho Grande, and the other by Elisabete Martins at her family farm, Fazenda Cachoeira.
— Cartwheel Coffee
Context
The District Blend represents a collaborative effort between producers Flavio Reis of Fazenda Rancho Grande and Elisabete Martins of Fazenda Cachoeira. Sourced from Brazil, this offering showcases the distinct character of the region through a traditional natural process. In natural-processed coffees, the coffee cherry is dried with the fruit intact, a method that often imparts a heavier body and pronounced sweetness compared to washed counterparts.
Crafted by Cartwheel Coffee, this blend highlights the synergy between two dedicated estates. When evaluating the profile of such a blend, it is helpful to reference the flavor wheel to identify the nuanced characteristics that emerge from these specific Brazilian terroirs. By combining the harvests of Reis and Martins, the roaster creates a balanced cup that reflects the foundational practices of the region while emphasizing the unique contributions of each producer.
