From the roaster

We are very excited to offer this unique single producer coffee from the farm of Mr. Tsegaye Maka. Because most Ethiopian coffee farmers have a very small plot of coffee, it's extremely rare to find single-producer lots. It's a special experience to taste what single farm in Ethiopia has to offer, and the results are truly distinct and amazing.

Tsegaye Maka (pronounced "Say Guy") is 42 years old and has farmed since he was a young man on his 47 acre farm in the renowned Yirgacheffe growing region. His coffee is unique and complex right off the bat, with notes of lemongrass, peach, almond paste and chai tea. The cup is incredibly clean, with a sparkling key-lime pie finish.

We roast and ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. All orders placed before 10AM ship that day.
