— Colonna Coffee

Context

This Black Friday offering from Colonna Coffee presents a washed-process coffee from the Migoti producer in Burundi. Washed coffees, processed using the wet method, typically emphasize the inherent characteristics of the bean itself, often yielding cleaner acidity and more defined flavor profiles compared to natural-process alternatives. Burundi's high-altitude growing regions are known for producing coffees with distinctive brightness and complexity.

The Migoti lot represents an opportunity to explore what this region and processing approach can deliver. For a detailed breakdown of the flavor characteristics you're experiencing, consult the flavor wheel to identify specific notes within the cup's profile.
