Context

Sourced from the Suca Eraulo region of the Ermera District, the Timor Leste Lekisala represents a distinct expression of the Timor Hybrid varietal. This lot is prepared using the washed process, a technique that typically emphasizes a coffee's inherent acidity and structural clarity by removing the fruit pulp before drying. You can learn more about how these processing methods influence the final cup profile in our educational guide.

Roasted by Keia & Martyn's Coffee, this selection balances deep, comforting sweetness with a bright, fruit-forward finish. The profile features notes of caramel and milk chocolate paired with the distinct crunch of crisped rice, rounded out by a malic, green apple vibrance and subtle citrus peel. To better understand how these specific descriptors fit into the broader spectrum of coffee aromatics, we recommend consulting our flavor wheel to help identify and categorize the nuances found in your brew.
