Amor Prohibido, offered by Little Waves Coffee Roasters, represents a classic approach to the American coffee profile. As a washed-process coffee, this lot emphasizes the inherent characteristics of the bean, as the removal of the fruit before drying typically results in a cleaner, more focused cup. You can learn more about how this technique influences the final profile in our processing methods explainer.

In the cup, this selection highlights comforting, dessert-like qualities, featuring notes of toffee, milk chocolate, and orange. These descriptors fall squarely within the sweet and citrus categories often found on the flavor wheel. While washed coffees are frequently celebrated for their bright acidity and clarity, the specific combination of chocolate and citrus here offers a balanced, approachable experience. This bulk offering is well-suited for those seeking a consistent, reliable daily brew that leans into traditional, crowd-pleasing flavor profiles.
