Owner Arnubio Jose Cardenas Sanches acquired his first 2 hectares of pasture at just 16 years old in 1999 and has devoted the last 25 years to his coffee cultivation. El Espejo farm now spans 8.5 hectares, where Arnubio grows Caturra, Colombia, and Gesha varieties with meticulous lot separation.
Only ripe cherries were collected, sorted by density, and left in cherry to ferment for 12 hours. They were then de-pulped and fermented in tanks for another 12 hours. After washing, the beans were laid to dry on ventilated roofs for 18-23 days.

Context
Colombia's Tolima region, known for producing coffees with distinctive clarity and complexity, yields this Geisha varietal from producer El Espejo. The washed process emphasizes the varietal's inherent characteristics—Geisha coffees are prized for their delicate floral and tea-like profiles. Revolver Coffee has brought out notes of apricot, earl grey, and floral character in their roast, suggesting a coffee that balances subtle fruit sweetness with aromatic complexity. This lot represents a thoughtful expression of what the varietal and region can achieve when processing highlights rather than masks origin qualities.
