From the roaster
Ready to enjoy anytime and anywhere!
Each box container 6 servings of coffee. Pour contents of one sachet into a vessel, add liquid of your choice, and stir well. That's it!
Dissolves easily into hot or cold liquids, so there's a lot of flexibility in how you "brew". Use 10oz of hot water for a classic cup of drip coffee or try dissolving directly into milk for an iced latte. PS - helps to shake in a sealed container if using cold liquids!
We created this version of instant coffee with one of our most beloved single origin coffees, Daannisa, a natural coffee from Ethiopia.
Many thanks to Swift Coffee!

Context
Daannisa Instant Coffee, produced by 1000 Faces Coffee, represents a unique approach to specialty-grade convenience. Sourced from Ethiopia, this offering utilizes a natural process, a method where the coffee cherry remains intact while drying around the bean. Generally, natural-processed coffees are known for developing heavier body and pronounced fruit-forward characteristics compared to their washed counterparts.
While instant coffee is often associated with mass-market production, this lot highlights the potential for high-quality, soluble coffee that retains the distinct terroir of its origin. When evaluating the profile of such a coffee, drinkers may find it helpful to reference the flavor wheel to identify the specific nuances that emerge from this traditional drying technique. By bridging the gap between specialty roasting and immediate preparation, this coffee offers a distinct perspective on how Ethiopian beans can be enjoyed in a modern, accessible format.
