Coffee Description: 

Grown by member farmers of the Sholi Cooperative in Rwanda’s highland Muhanga District, this fully washed Bourbon highlights the region’s signature clarity and sweetness. Handpicked up to 2,000 metres and carefully fermented, it delivers a bright, fruit-forward cup.

As this year’s North Star Espresso (medium), expect orange and red apple up front, finished with smooth honeyed sweetness and a clean, tea-like lift.

The North Star Filter Bundle, curated by 49th Parallel Coffee Roasters, highlights a specific expression of Rwandan coffee from the Muhanga District. Produced by the Sholi Cooperative, this lot consists of the Bourbon varietal grown at 2000 masl. As a washed coffee, it undergoes a processing method that typically emphasizes the inherent clarity and acidity of the bean.
