From the roaster

Mayra Orellana-Powell was born and raised in Santa Elena, a mountainous coffee-growing region of Honduras. She founded Catracha Coffee Company, a social enterprise that helps local smallholder farmers produce specialty coffee. Maria Adela Nolasco is one of their member farmers, and our long-term partnership with Adela and Catracha dates back to Andytown’s early days. Adela’s coffee has a velvety mouthfeel with just the right amount of acidity. We taste plum, green grape, and pecan praline.
