Ethiopia, known as the birthplace of coffee, has a traditional coffee ceremony to recognize its importance to the land and people. We think the Sidama roast represents the region well with bright notes of floral and fruit, and a hint of citrus. Traditionally, Sidama beans are natural or dry-processed, but this batch is wash-processed, bringing out a clean-tasting floral cup with hints of lemon grass. This washed Heirloom from Ethiopia's Sidama region sits at a sweet spot between elevation and processing clarity. Grown between 1900–2000 masl, the coffee benefits from the cooler conditions typical of higher-altitude cultivation while the washed process preserves the crisp, bright character for which the origin is known.
