Context

The El Burro Geisha, produced by the Lamastus family in Panama, represents a meticulous approach to cultivation and post-harvest handling. As a Geisha varietal, this coffee is often sought after for its distinct profile, which frequently leans toward floral and tea-like clarity. By utilizing a natural processing method, the producers allow the coffee cherry to dry with the bean intact, a technique that often imparts a heavier body and intensified sweetness to the final cup.

Roasted by Five Senses, this specific lot highlights notes of wild strawberry jam and vanilla. When evaluating such complex profiles, enthusiasts often refer to the flavor wheel to better identify and articulate the nuanced characteristics present in the brew. This offering serves as a compelling example of how the intersection of varietal selection and traditional processing can create a unique sensory experience for the drinker.
