Flying Goat Coffee – Holiday Blend
This year’s Holiday Blend is a thoughtful combination of seasonally fresh coffees from our favorite producers in Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Ethiopia. It’s roasted and blended to create a lush, syrupy body with a praline sweetness and lightly fruity background notes of dried plum and strawberry cobbler. We love it brewed as French Press, filter, or espresso. Designed to serve with pie!

Context
The Holiday Blend, crafted by Flying Goat Coffee, is designed to capture the warmth and comfort of the season. By balancing the rich, nutty sweetness of praline with the deep, dark fruit character of dried plum, this blend offers a complex profile that evolves in the cup. The addition of baking spice and strawberry cobbler notes provides a nostalgic finish, reminiscent of traditional holiday desserts.
When exploring the nuances of such a blend, it is helpful to reference the flavor wheel to better identify how these distinct elements interact. While blends are often composed to achieve a specific harmony, the interplay between spice and fruit notes is a hallmark of carefully curated seasonal offerings. This coffee serves as an excellent example of how roasters layer diverse flavor profiles to create a cohesive, evocative experience that resonates with the festive spirit of the time of year.
