Modern cultivation of coffee in China began in 1988. By 2016 and 2017, China ranked among the top 20 producers in the world. With the rise of coffee consumption in China, we are seeing a rise in production and exportation of the beautiful coffees of the Yunnan region.  This Natural from the Xishuangbanna, Yunnan region may come from a small farm, but it packs a punch of flavors. This coffee brings you on an unexpected journey beginning with a familiar tasting note of cherries, which escalates quickly to bright citrus tones and juicy tropical fruits. It’s well balanced, sweet and just a fun ride. Every time we came back to it, we discovered new qualities to love, which made this coffee stand out and us fall in love. We are excited to see what else comes out of China’s coffee scene, as it makes its way around the globe.
