Brazil - Coração de Melão
Roasted by Partners Coffee
Dense, sweet Brazilian coffee with chocolate, hazelnut, and fruit notes.

From the roaster
This coffee comes from Fazenda Rio Brilhante, a sprawling farm in Brazil's Cerrado Mineiro founded by Inácio Urban in the 1980s. In recent years the Urban family has partnered with our friends at Los Volcanes to experiment with new production methods and establish consistent profiles built from different varieties and locations on the farm.
Coração de Melão means "heart of melon" in Portuguese, signifying the sweet, tender center of the fruit. Fittingly, we're finding a dense sweetness reminiscent of milk chocolate and roasted hazelnut along with subtle notes of dried apple, pear, papaya, and honeydew, all in a heavy, full-bodied cup.
