Chocolate, plum, Fruits and Cocoa.

A good crowd pleaser with other cool special varietal type aspects. I found it not to be a weird fruity type but more a very solid colombian with general fruit also aspects. Give this is whirl for espresso.

Context

The Colombia Double Ferment Pacamara, offered by Royal Mile Coffee, highlights the distinct characteristics of the Pacamara varietal. Known for its large bean size, this hybrid of Pacas and Maragogipe is often sought after for its complex profile. When sourced from Colombia, these coffees frequently benefit from the country's diverse microclimates, which can influence the development of deep, resonant flavors.

In this specific lot, the double fermentation process is utilized to enhance the cup's structure, resulting in tasting notes of chocolate, plum, fruits, and cocoa. While individual experiences may vary, exploring these descriptors alongside a flavor wheel can help drinkers identify the nuanced interplay between the processing method and the inherent qualities of the bean. This selection serves as a compelling example of how experimental fermentation techniques can elevate the traditional flavor profile of a classic South American origin.
