From the roaster

  1. It's BACK. It's the same. Enjoy. :) (2026 too)

This coffee brings the super funk, but in that ethiopia way. We get full on red wine and grape. There's a nice layered floral tone to this coffee too that really changes as it rests both in roast dates and brew, which is always fun. I found the coffee to have a slightly dense body, a weighty mouthfeel but that might be down to my brewing methods and pour overs might yield different results. It was nicely sweet, simple syrup sweet (but one pump/very little).

In the cup, this specific lot presents notes of red wine, grape, and floral aromatics. While these descriptors are unique to this roast, they align with the broader spectrum of flavors often explored using the flavor wheel. Anaerobic processing is frequently sought after by those looking to experience how controlled oxygen deprivation can transform the inherent qualities of a bean, pushing the boundaries of traditional cup profiles. This selection offers a distinct look at how meticulous post-harvest techniques can elevate the inherent potential of coffee from this renowned origin.
