Context

Produced by the Buena Vista estate, this lot highlights the unique characteristics of the Sidra varietal, which is increasingly sought after for its ability to bridge the gap between traditional Bourbon-like sweetness and the exotic profiles often associated with Ethiopian heirlooms.

In the cup, this coffee presents a distinct profile defined by tropical sweetness and complex florals. While individual expressions vary, coffees of this caliber often invite a deeper exploration of the flavor wheel to identify the nuanced layers that emerge as the brew cools. By focusing on the specific genetic potential of the Sidra plant, this offering serves as a testament to the evolving landscape of Guatemalan specialty coffee, providing a sophisticated experience for those who appreciate clarity and depth in their morning cup.
