From the roaster

Produced by more than 600 smallholder farmers and processed at Gatomboya Factory in Nyeri, this coffee is a classic expression of Kenya's renowned coffee-growing landscape. Coffee is cultivated at elevations between 1,400 and 2,000 metres above sea level before being selectively hand-picked and delivered to the factory.

Following careful sorting, the coffee undergoes a fully washed process, including fermentation, washing and slow drying on raised beds. This meticulous approach to processing has helped establish Gatomboya's reputation for producing coffees of remarkable clarity and structure.

The result is a vibrant and expressive cup with the intensity, sweetness and definition that have made Nyeri one of Kenya's most celebrated coffee-producing regions.
