Lehmus Roasteryn Limited-sarjan kahvit esittelevät harvinaisia pieneriä eri puolilta kahvimaailmaa. Tällä kertaa tarjolla on perulaista Las Piriasin kylän pienviljeljöiden tuottamaa kahvia Chirinosin alueelta Cajamarcan kahvimaakunnasta.

Kahvi on kevyen anaerobisesti fermentoitu.

Context

The Limited Las Pirias Peru, sourced from the smallholders of Las Pirias in the Chirinos region of Cajamarca, represents a compelling example of modern processing techniques applied to traditional cultivars. By utilizing an anaerobic fermentation process, producers can significantly influence the final cup profile, often enhancing the inherent sweetness and fruit-forward characteristics of the bean. This lot features the Caturra varietal, a plant widely recognized for its adaptability and consistent quality. When exploring such unique profiles, it is helpful to reference the flavor wheel to better identify the nuanced notes of mango, passion fruit, and honey present in this roast.

Crafted by Lehmus Roastery, this coffee highlights the impact of meticulous post-harvest handling. Because processing methods play a critical role in shaping acidity and body, the anaerobic approach here serves to elevate the coffee's natural complexity. Whether you are a seasoned enthusiast or a curious newcomer, this Peruvian selection offers a distinct look at how regional terroir and innovative fermentation intersect.
