Decaf coffee is a whole different animal, so we take extra care in roasting this coffee. We’ve been focusing on bringing in better tasting decafs by choosing origins we love and using higher quality coffees. This coffee comes from many small land holders in Huila, Colombia. The decaffeination process is done naturally in Colombia using fermented sugar cane.

The coffee undergoes a fully washed process followed by sugar cane decaffeination, a method designed to preserve the bean's inherent sweetness while removing caffeine. Natural decafs can sometimes struggle to retain complexity, but this lot emphasizes approachable, indulgent notes of churro and caramel—suggesting the processing has captured the varietal's inherent sweetness rather than obscuring it with residual chemical flavors.
