This coffee is a deliciously juicy and versatile washed coffee from Sidama region, Ethiopia. The washing process highlights fruity and floral flavour notes.

In 2006, brothers Asefa and Mulugeta  Dukamo founded Daye Bensa, a coffee grower and exported in Ethiopia. Daye exports coffee from its farm, in the Shantawene Village, as well as from "out-growers" (or smallholders) in three villages; Shantawene, Karamo and Bombe.

Going forward, Daye is hoping to work with more farmers, to particularly encourage women farmers and to work with Hawassa University, to help students perform research too.

The flavour notes we've selected from this coffee showcase sweetness juxtaposed with a light tang.

We recommend pairing with: Berry Pavlova.

We removed seals on our bags to reduce plastic in our packaging, to keep your coffee as fresh as possible you can use our convenient coffee clips or our stylish coffee tins.
