Context
Sourced from the Guji region of Ethiopia, the Qabballe lot represents a meticulous approach to coffee production by Ture Waji. This selection features the 74110 varietal, a cultivar often celebrated for its distinct aromatic profile. As a natural-processed coffee, this lot undergoes a drying phase that typically encourages the development of intense sweetness and complex fruit-forward characteristics. When evaluating such profiles, enthusiasts often consult the flavor wheel to identify the nuanced interplay between the bright acidity of stone fruits and the more savory, herbal undertones found in the cup.
Roasted by Coffea Roasterie, this specific offering highlights the unique terroir of the Guji zone, situated at 2225 masl. The combination of high-elevation cultivation and traditional processing methods results in a cup defined by notes of blueberry, hops, and peach ring, showcasing the vibrant potential inherent in well-managed Ethiopian harvests.
