Context

The Qabballe, sourced from the Guji region of Ethiopia, represents a meticulous approach to coffee production led by producer Ture Waji. This lot features the 74110 varietal, a selection often celebrated for its distinct aromatic profile. Processed using the natural method, the coffee is dried with the fruit intact, a technique that frequently imparts a syrupy body and pronounced sweetness to the final cup.

Roasted by Coffea Roasterie, this specific offering highlights a complex interplay of blueberry, hops, and peach ring notes. When evaluating such vibrant profiles, enthusiasts often consult a flavor wheel to better categorize the nuanced acidity and fruit-forward characteristics common in high-elevation Ethiopian coffees. Grown at 2225 masl, the Qabballe serves as a compelling example of how regional terroir and careful post-harvest handling converge to create a unique sensory experience for the discerning drinker.
