From the roaster

Context

Produced by Agri Evolve in Uganda, the Bantu Blossom represents a distinct offering from Ditta Artigianale. Grown at an elevation between 1600 and 1800 meters above sea level, this lot undergoes a natural process, which often imparts a heavier body and pronounced fruit characteristics compared to other processing methods.

In the cup, this coffee presents a profile defined by notes of blueberry, chestnut, and dark chocolate. These descriptors align with the broader categories found on the flavor wheel, highlighting the interplay between deep, earthy nuttiness and vibrant berry acidity. By focusing on the specific terroir of the Ugandan landscape, Agri Evolve emphasizes the potential of the region’s coffee production. This selection serves as a compelling example of how natural processing can elevate the inherent qualities of the bean, resulting in a complex and balanced experience for the drinker.
