ニュークロップのエチオピア第二弾。今回はナチュラルプロセスのコーヒーをリリースします。

このコーヒーの特徴は、そのプロセスに由来する風味の強さと複雑さ。イチゴやアプリコット、ライチのような果実味がとてもはっきりと感じられるとともに、フローラル香や紅茶のような風味が仄かに漂う芳醇な味わいを持っています。

プロセス特有の発酵感は、風味を引き立てつつもクリーンな印象は損なわない、程よいバランスに仕上がっています。

今まで飲んできたナチュラルプロセスのコーヒーは、ボディや口当たりがリッチなコーヒーが多い印象でしたが、このコーヒーは口当たりは比較的柔らかく、華やかでフルーティな風味がより一層強く感じられます。

Sourced from the Bochesa washing station in the Arbegona district of Sidama, this Ethiopian offering from Fuglen Coffee showcases the distinct character of the region. The coffee is comprised of Heirloom varieties grown at elevations between 2000 and 2200 meters. By utilizing a natural process, the producers allow the coffee cherry to dry intact, which often imparts a heavier body and intensified sweetness compared to washed counterparts.

In the cup, this lot presents a complex profile featuring strawberry, apricot, lychee, and dark chocolate.
